Terms of Use

Last updated: 8 June 2026

These terms govern your use of RummyGuide (yourummy.app). By accessing or reading any page on this site, you accept them. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the site.

Educational content only

RummyGuide is an educational reference about Indian Rummy: its rules, strategy, mathematics, and legal status. Nothing on this site is an invitation, encouragement, or facility to gamble. We do not host games, accept wagers, process payments, or operate any real-money gaming service, and we are not affiliated with any operator that does.

Our legal cluster pages summarise statutes, ordinances, and court judgments relating to rummy and games of skill in India. They are general information, not legal advice, and reading them does not create any professional relationship between you and RummyGuide. Gaming law in India varies by state and changes frequently — ordinances are issued, amended, and struck down. Before playing rummy for stakes, or making any decision with legal or financial consequences, verify the current law in your state and consult a qualified advocate. You alone are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to you.

No warranty of accuracy

We work hard to keep every guide accurate and current, and our editorial policy (see the About page) describes how content is fact-checked. Nevertheless, all content is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the site is error-free, complete, or up to date at the moment you read it, or that following any strategy described here will produce winning results. Probability is not a promise; skill at rummy does not guarantee profit.

18+ audience

This site discusses card games that may be played for money. It is intended exclusively for readers aged 18 and over. If you are under 18, do not use this site, and do not play real-money rummy anywhere — it is illegal for minors throughout India.

Intellectual property

All original content on RummyGuide — articles, explanations, examples, calculations, and site design — is the property of RummyGuide and protected by copyright. You may quote brief excerpts for commentary, criticism, education, or review with attribution and a link to the source page. You may not republish entire articles, scrape the site for redistribution, or use our content to train a competing commercial product without written permission. Statutes and court judgments referenced in our guides are public documents and are not claimed as our property.

Acceptable use

You agree not to: attempt to disrupt, overload, or compromise the site or its hosting infrastructure; use automated tools to scrape content at abusive rates; misrepresent RummyGuide content as your own or as official legal guidance; or frame or mirror the site in a way that misleads readers about its origin.

Our guides link to third-party websites, including government sources and news outlets. These links are provided for reference. We do not control external sites, do not endorse everything they contain, and accept no responsibility for their content, accuracy, or practices. Following an external link is at your own risk.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RummyGuide and its contributors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, this site or its content — including, without limitation, financial losses from playing rummy for stakes, legal consequences of playing in a state where it is prohibited, or decisions taken in reliance on any guide. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the site is to stop using it.

Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or your use of the site is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.

Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, and the “Updated” date will reflect the latest revision. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance.
